Someone send me some good weather so I can fly mine! :-( -----Original Message----- From: krnet-boun...@mylist.net [mailto:krnet-boun...@mylist.net]On Behalf Of Jeff Scott Sent: Thursday, December 16, 2004 10:41 AM To: kr...@mylist.net Subject: Re: KR> Get it finished !!
I have to second Larry's sentiments. I've flown a lot of light planes, but few as much fun to fly as my KR. 485+ hours and counting on this KR. Following a flight in it last night, I commented to another pilot that if the FAA knew how much fun this plane is to fly, they would make it illegal. For those lacking motivation, if you only knew... If Larry had only known how much fun it would be, his would have been flying 10 years ealier. ;o) -Jeff -- larry flesner <fles...@midwest.net> wrote: After putting another 1.5 hours on the KR yesterday, all I can say is "come on guys and gals, get that project finished and flying"!!! The winds were light and/or right down the runway. I've logged time in a Cessna 150, 172, 172XP, 177, 182, Piper Cherokee 140, 180, the 180 with the tapered wing, Tripacer, Colt, Super Decathalon, and flown in Champs, Taylorcrafts, Mooneys, Bananzas, Cubs, ultralights, Ercoupes, Aztecs, and more, but I think my KR is as exciting to fly and capable of making the best landings of anything I've flown. With little or no wind it flares and settles on smoother than any airplane I've ever experienced !!! It flares beautifully, slows and settles on with the wheels just starting to roll on the asphalt. AWSOME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When you get your project flying you'll kick yourself for taking so long to build.......... _______________________________________ Search the KRnet Archives at http://www.maddyhome.com/krsrch/index.jsp to UNsubscribe from KRnet, send a message to krnet-le...@mylist.net please see other KRnet info at http://www.krnet.org/info.html
