Mark-- I came to that same conclusion soon after getting home from the
gathering. My bottom half of the cowl is going to be my biggest
disappointment but I know that I can try to improve over the next few
winters after it is flying. I'm finishing the carb heat right now and I
had bought the 9 inch homebuilders heat muff. At 50 plus bucks it was way
to much for what it is, but it clamped right on and was a bunch of hours
that I didn't spend making it 3 times. (pretty sure you known what I
mean)
