Mark: Stupid question from the peanut gallery but why didn't you go with
fuel injection setup from a 3.1 liter system from a V6 engine and cobble in
the computer module from the donor vehicle and get rid of the carb icing and
mixture problems all with one stroke? Just asking as I found 2 pristine Vair
engines in a scrap engine pile at local junkyard for 50 bucks apiece as well
as a couple of type 4 VW's for same price. Take 1 or take em all as they are
going for scrap. May just pick up both Vairs and the type 4's. At that price
I could use them for paper weights if not used in the KR.

But just so it won't be a total waste, I'd like to report that I
finished installation of the primer circuit today and it works like a
charm....fires right up! No longer will I need a spray bottle with gasoline
to get it to startMark Langford, Huntsville, Alabama
