I tried to remove my center section forward spar today without damaging it, but no luck. It does come out very easily though when you saw it off with a sawzall and remove the remaining pieces with a wood chisel.
Since I am going to build a new wing with the new airfoil I would like to sell my outboard forward spars. The wood work is very good and they are not varnished or drilled for the attach fittings yet.
