I have been reading back through the archives trying to get some handle on
the KR performance. I found amazing quantities of brilliant information
(and plenty of the other), but I do not see any information to substantiate
the 200 mph claim - anywhere.

The typical KR2 /2S apears tp be stretched a few inches (no great effect on
speed); widened a bit (some effect on speed) and the retract gear changed
for fixed legs of both species.

I have read (Krnet) that faired legs /wheels on a tail dragger present less
drag than the original gear - I can easily see that.

Most have more power that the prototype.

Ok, most are a bit heavier (some a lot heavier) but these birds are well
within the original spec when flown solo.

I figured the Italian Kr with a good motor /prop combo and pretty neat
configuration and weight would be up there - no bananas.

It is such a sweet little bird, so it is probably not an issue - but what
sort of cruise can I expect from 80hp (cruise hp)?

Ok - how long is a piece of string - assuming RAF section, 625lbs empty, KR2
plus 14 aft and 4 fwd plus 7" width (wide bit moved back to wing TE), tail
feathers 008; TD u/c - all else stock.

Gound adjustable propeller.
