Minimal day VFR. Get rid of all those extra instruments!

He was short and small. Light airplane & pilot, low fuel load, and a turbo 
VW engine = performance.

To match his numbers:
1. pilot weight 130#
2. A/s, alt, v/s, compass, & minimal engine instr only
3. no Dragonfly canopy or gull wing doors
4. extra equipment - NADA!
5. thick foam or extra f/g - no way.

He built a MG TD (in auto talk) type airplane. Most of the KR2s I have seen 
try to be corvettes.
