I made a jig this morning and checked my exact distance from prop arc to center line of the pitot. It is 12 3/4". If I go any further out it will interfer with the wheel pant installation. I think that I will leave it alone and see how it turns out. I'll be running the corvair again in the next week or so and if the airspeed shows that it thinks the plane is moving than I may have to change the location.
