I believe you will be right about the fuel consumption. I'll keep you posted once I get some real data.

I bet 8GPH on the 100HP engine. 2-strokes drink gas but are super light. It's so light you might even run into CG problems. As far as the Jabiru goes, I have seen and heard the 80Hp verson and it's a smooth running engine just alittle expensive.
