Since it is becoming more and more obvious that Mrs. Rand is not much interested in her business, have any of you guys who are on the KRNet and show the most interest in the KR line of aircraft ever thought of making her an offer to buy the company. I know there are people on the KRNet who are very well qualified to run such a company and even come out with new designs such as a sea plane or a four place twin. These are things that Ken Rand was thinking about prior to his death. He did design a sea plane and the prototype was built test flown and crashed. If Ken had survived he would have made some changes in that design and it would have been as successful as his other designs. The only thing I know of that has been created new since Mrs. Rand took over is pre-molded parts, the KR-2S, and a tri-gear. With proper marketing, I think the KR aircraft could be made as popular as the RV aircraft are and at a much more attractive price. Ease of building, low price, high performance and a very attractive finished airplane are all the features that make the KR well worth the expense and effort to build so if proper marketing were started by new management I am sure the new owners would enjoy great success. Just my thoughts gentlemen, something for some of you to think about it.
