Scot Thanks for your insight into my wing skins, But you may have missed the small part that said I replaced my spars.
I find it difficult to see the difference in getting a bond with the spar, if you cut the skin , then sand off the skin and flox, Vinyl Ester resin bonds better to its self than to wood, Also by sanding off the flox and cleaning up the spars, wouldn't you remove those Micro cracks? In the case of Micro Cracks, how do we then, tell if the spar material we buy in the first place to build our spars ,do not already have Micro Cracks??
