i also relocated my cht coupler i had it under the plug and like Steve said 
it gave a higher reading like 75 deg also i burned a valve seat due to plug 
coming lose possibly all other valves were fine.  proper location is on the 
right 
bank looking out of the aircraft #2 or #4 cly depending on mag or dist firing 
orders are different under head bolt (stud) and not the plug.
