I used a regular 3/16" twist drill bit, about a foot long. They sell them at Home Depot and other stores (although I know that doesn't help you). I guess SA is metric, right? That might be a little bit of a problem, but I'd think any decent machine shop supply place would have them, or certainly could get them.
