I know this question was directed to Larry but I did the same thing with my
cockpit finish on the dash and interior canopy frame. This type paint is
very easy to apply directly from an aerosol can and the results are very
nice. The real good thing about this paint is that it hides any
imperfections in the surface being painted. Rust-Oleum American Accents
Stone Creations is the textured paint I used and highly recommend it. It
cost about $8.00 per 12oz can at Home Depot.

Larry Flesner,
I am posting this because I think many of us could benefit from this
knowledge. Where did you get the splatter paint for your interior that you
used to cover your insides? It leaves a great finish and I remember an
article in one of the aviation periodicals on it but can't find the article.
Thanks in advance.
