...when your pile of spruce is downright tiny, consisting only of wierd stuff that you ordered way after the Spruce Kit, and you haven't touched it in two years, and it's as small as mine ( http://home.hiwaay.net/~langford/woodpile.jpg ).
I've been on some kind of inexplicable bizarre organization frenzy for the last few weeks, expanding attic storage area, and moving basement stuff up there to become relics. Now that it's finally all straightened out, I'm back on the KR job. Other than some last-minute priming/painting (75 degrees tomorrow), the next big goal is to get ready to try out Steve Makish's 52 x 66 Sterba prop and see how fast I can turn it, so I'm going to finish up the engine installation. It's already been run at the 2002 Corvair College ( http://home.hiwaay.net/~langford/corvair/cc2002/ ), so I'm not too far away. I just want to capture the feeling that Jones had when I took the picture at http://mywebpage.netscape.com/n886mj/images/mjtaxi.jpg . The meager scraps of spruce will have to make room for something else... Mark Langford, Huntsville, AL N56ML "at" hiwaay.net see KR2S project at http://home.hiwaay.net/~langford
