My rudder cables came from the rudder horn to the rudder pedals . The left cable then continues on to a pulley and back to the right pedal. Thus any movement in either direction is transmited to the opposite pedal. A spring pulls this pulley so an to put a tension on the cables. The tension is adjustable by means of an adjustable tension device. I have a 35 pound tension on the cables regardless of the deflection of the rudder itself.
