Wow, when I read the below response, it makes one wonder why were even
talking about an antiquated technology NOT SPECIFIED in the KR PLANS.

I'll admit, Cloth and Dope was a revolution on the Hindenburg, it however
should not be used on your KR.  As we moved into the JET AGE, we found out
that epoxy and fiberglass cloth offers the absolute best protection against
the elements.
