RV, The CG position should be as close to the forward limit as possible , when empty . ( ie ideally 15-20% MAC or 8-10 inches aft of the leading at the stub wing). My KR2S empty weight CG came in at 18% .
When loaded with fuel and passegers , it will move back as expected. I don't know how "stock" your KR2S is compared to mine but you are welcome to use my Excel spreadsheet to enter your exact plane variable ( moment arms and weights). The spreadsheet will calculate required % for you. I will E mail it direct to you ( and anyone who wants it). Fly safe , protect yourself ...and our privelege to fly amateur built aircraft .
