There is a certain amount of neutral stability in my KR-2S. I can trim for 100kts hands-off , nice, if I give a control input or a gust and the KR continues at say 90kts or 110kts. It does not return to the trim speed. However it does not start de- or accelerate, it just stays wherever you pointed it. This problem is more pronounced with a aft c/g condition.
As I have only 26 hours on it I will continue to experiment with: 1.) Trim authority, I have a slight problem with trim authority. This might be due to a tailplane incident, however my tailplane is glued in place and I have increased the trim tab area to increase trim authority. 2.) secondly play around with the amount of lead in the tail. Currently I fly with 2,8kg of lead. I think I was fighting trim authority with c/g position in the past from next weekend on I will work on trim authority.
