Thanks for the info on transponders. I got good news today that my transponder has been fixed and I asked them to "next day" UPS it to me. Should install Wednesday and be able to fly at 11,500' 13,500' or 15,500' as I choose!
I did a seated "happy dance" when I got the news. As much as I have avoided ATC services in the past, that is changing as I fly more. Flight following...YES.
