Thought everyone might get something out of this:
Dear Richard,
I commend you on your need to have checklists. I also will have checklists as
part of the necessary equipment to go fly. Your thoughts mirror mine concerning
using the Cessna checklists as a template and adapting them to the KR2. I am a
flight instructor, and have taught at two different schools that advertise
professional pilot training. They each took the standard checklists and changed
them to suit their training needs. Thus I saw a perfect method of having KR2
checklists, by adapting the Cessna 152 checklists to the specifics of the KR2.
I also intend on developing my operating manual by using a Cessna 152
information manual, and changing it to match the KR2. I have not read your
checklists yet, but wanted to send this to you promptly to encourage you to
continue, and suggest the use of the POH as a guide for your own operating
manual as well.
