I almost asked this very same question the day before billy did, so I was quite interested in Dana's answer that Van's had them for sale. I ordered one, and got it today. It's not exactly a perfect fit for my cowling, nor the Revmaster, but it MIGHT be better for the old standard KR cowling, it's hard to say. And it's positive proof that RV guys don't know diddly about getting fiberglass smooth (so it matches the rest my cowling nicely), but it'll certainly get the job done! I'm at the point now that I don't really care what it looks like, as long as it'll get me in the air sooner rather than later. All I have to do is cut off the flange, recontour it to fit my cowling, glass it on with two layers of 2" wide fiberglass tape, and put a big fillet of micro on the joint and call it DONE! There's a photo of their "FAB4 SCOOP 0320" at http://home.hiwaay.net/~langford/RVscoop.jpg , just laid in place. My carburetor is almost mounted so I may be installing the "scope" shortly. I saw Ed Janssen and Video Bob at the SAA flyin this weekend. Also saw Paul, Tom, and Phil Boyer, among others. And I saw some pretty outstanding homebuilts too. William Wynne did another excellent Corair forum, and there were two immaculate Vair powered Piets that flew in. Funny thing is that I only remember seeing about three planes on the field that weren't taildraggers...
