For those of you in an active EAA chapter or have a large circle of "flying buddies", I'd suggest you try to make a plane hauling trailer a group project. You could cut your cost considerably and still have it any time you wanted it. My trailer gets used maybe 5 to 7 days A YEAR and it's available to two EAA chapters in the area and I use it for some general purpose hauling. Make it a chapter owned and built project and it may not cost you anything!
