Recent discussions on trailers brought to mind the attached, Sept 2002,
post from Oscar Zuniga.
I really thought the "Dawn Patrol" trailer idea was a pretty neat
set-up; check the link in the following post for detail drawings, etc:

Hello, netters;

There was some discussion about trailers a week or two ago. Here are
more
ideas, from the "Dawn Patrol" guys (you may remember them from a
Gathering a
few years ago): http://www.kcdawnpatrol.com/trailers.htm

Surprised ( and disappointed ) no one has replied to this question, I'm
also looking to start next week on a trailer project for a KR2 tri-gear,
and would welcome advice from those that have been there already.
Especially if you have some good idea's on how to winch up the plane on
to the trailer without causing too much stress on the gear ! Trailer
will be (for legal reasons) only just wide enough to take the aircraft
wheels, which means that the plane has to ride up and over the height of
the trailer wheels, and I'm using a converted caravan chassis for this.
If anyone has similar experience, I'd be grateful to hear about it..

Phil
