KR>Elevator cables

Hello netters,
I bought a KR2, and do not have plans with the plane. The cables to the 
elevator is very different in tension from the ailerons, so much so that I can 
get manual flutter at the elevator when fully deflected up. I bought a cable 
tension gauge, but do not have the plans to know what size cables are 
installed, nor the recommended tension in foot pounds. Please help. What is the 
practicality in changing to pushrods?
