I don't worry a lot about fire, never have. I do wear a fire retardant long sleeve shirt most of the time in the winter to keep me warm, but it probably won't do much good if it got real hot. A fire extinguisher and a parachute is probably the best option for in flight fire response but a parachute wouldn't fit in my cockpit. I do know of one guy who used a parachute to save his life, not to fire though. He told me the story himself. P.S. I got a gopro camera today. All you with videos made me want one. Be safe.
