However, drag for the landing approach is critical , IMHO.? If you want flaps, build them to produce drag also for the landing approach.? A simple speed brake will suffice for drag.? There really is no need to try to combine the two unless you are looking for an aeronautical / mechanical challenge.? 600 hour with speed brake only.
