I met Colin at the KR Gathering in September, but really didn't get a chance to talk to him. I ran in to Colin again at the CopperState EAA Fly In near Phoenix again in October where we got a chance to chat a bit and I got to see Colin's presentation. As of then, I believe Colin was planning to attend Sun 'N Fun, then travel North up the East Coast, then across the Northern States before flying to Alaska, then ultimately across the northern Pacific from the Aleutians, to Russia, Japan, and China before winging his way back across Europe. I believe Colin said he had a speaking engagement in China for some time this summer, so I would expect him to be leaving the lower 48 and be on his way to Alaska about now or very shortly.
