save me a lot of work on my next plane.

Contrast that with the equivalent aluminum AN742-D4 clamp that does that
same job (19 cents at AS&S), and it weighs less than three grams.  

but is it worth 28x the weight of what is normal practice on certified
airplanes?  Throw in a figure-8 of safety wire that weighs a gram to
definitely immobilize the cable and your clamp is still 21x heavier.
