I did that calc a long time ago, but I was too lazy to do it the hard 
way. I got something called "SPARANA.exe" to do that for me.  It was 
pretty simple, but only runs on 16 bit machines, so you'd have to use it 
on XP or DOSBOX or something similar.

Another good one is SparStrength.xls at
http://www.acrodesigns.com/excel/SparStrength.xls .  This makes it dirt 
simple also.
