DUH! Just figured out that's the belt driven magneto. Newer engines dont have
that type of magneto, they have a coul triggered by the flywheel like on my
Jabiru (which has dual magneto ignition)
so I wonder if there is a VW case with the starter on top. even better if it
faces forward like my jabiru.
