I'm concerned about the safety of camping around Chino. The area has long been a hotbed of dairy cow activity and I don't think it's stretching things to suggest over the years some of them have gone rogue. As with feral dogs, it's possible the rogue cows have banded together and roam the countryside in small herds, trampling all that gets in their way. Has any provision been made to protect those who elect to camp at this year's Gathering? A motorhome is one thing, but wild cows would laugh at the typical flimsy camping tent and whoever might be inside innocently sleeping after a hard day of KR activities. Has any thought been given to this possible danger? Hopefully there are sturdy fences surrounding the camping site and "NO COWS" signs have been posted around the perimeter.
Am I overly concerned about this possible issue? http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/rouge-herd-wreaks-havoc-cemetery -article-1.1251237 I'm sure Steve and Marc have taken precautions but I mention it just in case . . . . ************** I am hoping to attend the Gathering tomorrow and Saturday, although I plan to fly home Friday night and avoid possible trampling . . . however I discovered I've put my prop on backwards so need to fix that and do a prop re-balance before I can go anywhere. I'll be bringing my prop balancing equipment in case anybody needs a prop balance. Mike KSEE ____________________________________________________________ Want to place your ad here?
