Here is my KR-2 ready to fly with wheel fairings installed before it was apparent that the engine needed to be moved forward 2 inches. https://s3.amazonaws.com/expercraft/sidwood/3774428524f1ed5565543e.mid.jpg Here is a picture of the right main wheel on my KR-2. https://s3.amazonaws.com/expercraft/sidwood/9261150634548046811dd7.jpg The axel center is at 17.0 inches aft from the stub wing leading edge. CG with me on board and full fuel is 12.6 inches from the stub wing leading edge. The scales show 93 pounds on the nose wheel at that loading; that is not enough to keep the nose on the ground when hitting bumps during taxi. Also, I have to be careful climbing on or getting off so as to not dump on the tail. I have measured the actual cg at the tipping point with me climbing onboard; it moves to 17.1 inches and down goes the tail. I am making brackets to move the main wheels 3 inches further aft to 20 inches from the stub wing leading edge.
