We met years ago at Old Sarum -my KR was G-BVZJ (sold her in'98)
I can't believe those "LAA engineers" - they need to reinvent the wheel
anytime a design comes from  over the pond.  I remember they wouldn't
accept a harness attachment fitting even though it had been in use by Dan
Dhiel years before....A nameless engineer reckoned THEY would accept a 6"
nail in the main spar!
Conversely the fact that the Corvair conversion coming in at 20lbs MORE
than a Jab 3300 wouldnt wash either..I don't think there were any major
mods to the bulkhead....ask Mark..
Can you wonder why there are so few self builds in the UK
