On the flip side, I installed the Rotec model TBI-40-4 on my O-320 powered Glastar and love it compared to the carb that it replaced. Engine starts easier and it is compatible with mogas containing ethanol. The diaphram is a separate unit but it was pretty easy to build a bracket to bolt it to the TBI itself. The throttle linkage is a typical slide setup which is different than that of a carb. The throw is a little shorter than the carb, but it did not take long to adjust to it. The built in fuel pressure override button works so well that I removed the manual priming system from the airplane after a couple of months. Cost was about $800. The bracket I made was probably overkill.
