Fowler flaps have been around for a long time and work well but, 
unless you need a "special purpose" airplane, adding fowler flaps to 
a KR is a bit of an overkill.  Design / installing them will 
certainly increase the build time.  If you're thinking the KR needs 
Fowler flaps to complete your mission profiles, you probably need to 
build a different aircraft.  A KR does need some drag added for a 
"comfortable" approach to landing, IMHO.

Don't let us on the net beat you down with your questions.  Curiosity 
is a good thing.  It's how we learn.  Keep the questions coming.  You 
have 600+ opinions to pick from. :-)  To answer your question, I've 
not seen a source for the info you want.  Look in the Tony Bingelis 
books if you have them.
