I too have had a lousy experience with 2 EAA chapters.? If there is no E in EAA then why bother.? At this point the only reason I stay a member is the magazine and discount to OSH.? If I wanted to hang out and tell stories I go down to the VFW or the Legion hall.? Maybe after I retire and have gobs of time on my hands I can go around and try different chapters but I suspect the plane will be done by then and I will have little reason to do so.? I get much better information on this mail list than I have ever gotten from EAA.? Eaa has lost it's way and I hope someday it can get back to what it was formed to do.? In the mean time...I keep trudging along without them.
