Neville, welcome to the forum and Of course you can build a KR from plans
only. Many of us have gone that route..... I find it a chore to routinely
remove the wings from a KR only because you must tow it home after each
flight. Not difficult but simply a pain in the neck! When you only have
time for an hour or two of flying you must add to that 1-Installing wing
bolts, hooking up outboard fuel lines if that option is chosen, hook up
ailerons, gap tape, thorough inspection of all...trying not to scratch the
paint, find a lost nut in the grass, misplaced tool. This is the easy part!
Try removing the wings alone, move them to your trailer, strap them in
securely, haul the plane up the ramp and tie it down in the trailer...all
the while worried about damage, impending rain, late to pick up a child at
school....ad infinitum! Repeat all of this when you get home to your cozy
little garage unless you have an enclosed trailer....
Pat

New to the forum and have a few simple questions

Can the KR-2s be completely scratch built from the plans provided (i.e.
no need to buy components)

How easy it it to remove the wings on the KR-2s and whats involved

Anyone in Australia (preferable Vic)currently building or flying a KR2s
