Mike I saw your email that you are selling your KR project. You mentioned that you had inboard and tail skins as part of what your are selling. If those skins are the ones that are made using a honeycomb core instead of a foam core like the outboard Diehl skins, please tell the buyer to protect himself from the dust as well as the wet resin. I had a reaction when I got the dust on the back of my hands while I was drilling holes thru a rib made with the honeycomb / prepreg resin fiberglass. l had a terrible rash from head to toe. When I talked to Dan Diehl about it, thinking that I had a reaction to the vinylester resin, he told me that it WAS the epoxy prepreg that the inboard skins had been made with, NOT the vinylester, that caused it. Jeanette Rand had them made in California by a local company. No idea what brand of resin was used.Dan Diehl recommended that any future on my project that I wear a Tyvek suit, nitrile gloves, and full face respirator. I'm also going to use "Invisible Glove #5215", available at Aircraft Spruce, on my hands, arms and face as added protection. I plan on finishing my project and flying it next year.Sorry to hear that you are selling your project. Thought I should pass that on to you and your buyer. Pete Klapp, building n729PK,Canton, Ohio
