The answer to the question "How often is the gathering list updated?", is it depends.
After the gathering in the late fall it might be once a month. During the spring and summer it's once a week. Once we get to August, it's every other day. I just updated the page today (9/12/13) and it was last updated on (9/10/13). There were three registrations added on 9/10/13, and five added today 9/12/13. If you look at the top of the pre-registration page, there is a line that says "[Pre-Registration information as of September 12, 2013 10:15 AM EDT.]" in bright blue text. This line was added about five years ago when the same question came up. Be sure to clear your browser cache when checking for updates or you might get an old page from your system's cache. I use chrome, you push ctl+shift+del and then it brings up a screen that allows you to delete browser cache. If you're on a different browser I'm not famialiar with how you would clear cache. If your name is not on the current list please accept my apology for the web eating your registration, or me messing it up if that's the case.
