Has anyone added a stall strip to the leading edge of the stub wing like on
the Grumman Yankee?
Stall strips are usually added to ensure that the inboard portion of the
wing stall first - before the outboard portion. With the ailerons on the
outboard portion of the wing are stalled, there is no longitudinal control
and no way to prevent rolling. The KR2 and other modern designs have
washout build into the wings which obviates the need for stall strips.
