CCing kopete-devel

Hi!

if you want to participate in GSoC this year for some KDE project
you need to show us that you are best person for chosen project.

If you are interested in Kopete, I would expect from you some
contribution to Kopete codebase. E.g fixing some (small) bug,
adding new feature, etc. You need to show KDE team that you are
prospective student and perfect candidate for project.

About jabber message archiving: There is already alpha version of
patches, but I do not know its current state (Roman know more):
https://git.reviewboard.kde.org/r/111361/

But the big problem about Kopete projects is finding mentor. I
can mentor maximally one project and I also for that need co-
mentor (it is still better if some co-mentor can help me). So
even if you will be the best student candidate it does not mean
you can be selected.

I would suggest you, to subscribe to kopete-devel mailinglist,
read GSoC archive messages [1], contribute to kopete project and
ideally also start searching for mentor/co-mentor in KDE team.
