As it's already been said above- you can change the "Prev" and "Next shortcuts
to anything you want.
As for the #0-9 - yes Konqueror and Konsole both have support for these, but at
least in my Kubuntu install they are not enabled by default.
I agree this should totally be a KDE-wide tab setting, then all these apps
wouldn't need to create 12 KActions for this stuff.
