Hello.

You need to insert data in Unicode format and make sure that the database
collation is utf8_general_ci as well

Then you must rebuild the data once finished entering the data.

Also change the default character set in mysql.cnf to urf8

Moreover, may be you need to change the zebra configuration something called
utf.chr ( I don't remember the full name)
