Hi Wayne, I share your concerns, nonetheless I agree with Seth to merge the GAL branch to the nightlies as soon as possible. If we'll find another critical bug, these are - in my experience - usually overlooked corner cases or memory management issues and fixing them doesn't require a lot of code changes. Cherry-picking them to 5.0.1 would IMHO take much less time than waiting for the feedback on eeschema-gal and delaying the 5.1.
