There are some issues with the windows build system that needs some testing, seemingly at least the nightlies are quite unstable. I would prefer if we can just call it a release candidate and not make the release announcement in the weekend.
The latest nightly seems to crash suspiciously, I suspect it is the build system but I don't know yet.
