Dear all,

We have two main types of communications or at least, we should have:

   - Daily Communications: Mailing List, IRC, Google Hangout, G+, etc.
   - Real Time/Instant Communications: None so far.

As we're a business 'project' [1], I think a side from the fact that we
need to use emails, we also need to use an instant/real time chat/messaging
platforms. I got inspired with this idea from Ubuntu GNOME Artwork
Sub-Team. They decided to exchange phone numbers and created a group on
Telegram to communicate faster regardless of different time zones.

If a Non-Profit like Ubuntu GNOME is doing that, I see why not we do the
same and we're a profit project and time is our brutal enemy.

Thus, I think we need to move forward with the idea of having two different
types, one for urgent and short communications and the other for daily
longer communications.

Myself, Gustavo and Emily have agreed on that. All that and other stuff can
be found on the most recent meeting that I posted on G+ group a while ago.

Please do NOT reply this email with your own phone. This mailing list has a
public archive. If you don't mind that, that's fine. If you do, feel free
to reply me only with your contact and I shall reply with mine.

However, I think first we need to agree on a platform.

To be honest, I use Whatsapp which is now owned by Facebook.

If you prefer another one, I need to download that.

My only problem is: Whatsapp works on my two old phones. I have Blackberry
and Sony (Android) but both are old and slow. So, things like Skype,
Hangout, etc sadly are not an option for me on my phones.

I also use Line which can do both texting, voice and video calls.

For urgent communications, we need a short quick platform so text based is
more than enough at this point with a file sharing feature is great.

I am sure you all agree on the idea but I guess we might disagree a bit in
terms of which platform we shall use.

For the back-end people, you may find this at this point is less important
and I agree, specially for Israel at this point. But for Jonathan, I think
it is important since he's our website driver.

BY THE WAY: by sharing your phone, please don't think for a moment that you
should sleep and your phone is beside you on the same pillow. You are NOT
required to do that and hopefully will never be. You don't have to be 24/7
available just to reply. However, if you're available and awake, it is very
great to reply at once.

If you have any Q, please do ask.

Thanks!
