Hi, I've been silent for 2 days now and couldn't join IRC. Not only I was tired, I'm having a serious personal issue that I had to deal with. Today, I decided to step on everything and move forward. I can't just surrender to personal issues no matter how serious/hard it is. I mean, I can't give up. As for sleeping more, I'm working on it :)
Now, what happened with Kibo so far? 1. Jason, the one who installed WordPress on Phill's Server so we could use that on our website; hopefully fixed the technical issue that we are having with the website - Jonathan is aware of it. 2. info@kibo.computer has been created for a while and I already received few emails. What would you like to do with it? someone steps in and take full charge as his/her time allows? or there should be more people? or you want us to handle it? whatever you think will work better, share your idea. For now, it has only very few emails so I can handle it for now. I'm talking about the near future :) 3. media@kibo.computer has been created. It is for Marketing purposes + social media channels. 4. Twitter, Facebook, Google+ and YouTube channels have been created. I won't share that until we have a working website and a logo. To-do very soon? 1. I need each and everyone of you to tell us exactly what is his/her role will be? there are many blueprints that you guys haven't commented on yet (by editing the white board). 2. I will create the form of the staff information that I told you about earlier. Once done, I shall send it. 3. I shall put an ad on a local website and ask for people to join us. I'd suggest you do the same on your local website. I know what you will say (we have website to show nor logo) but what if we put a small summary about Kibo with a contact way so those who are interested could call? remember, focus on: members (staff) those who will get paid as per projects or tasks and volunteers who will not get paid but will learn a lot so they could fill the gaps on their CVs and learn new stuff in return of what they can offer. Don't mention the 3rd type (investor) yet. 4. I will do my very best to ignore what I'm having from hard time and work on the website. If anyone wishes to help, please say so. I have added people but because of the technical issue, all names are gone except me, Jason and belkinsa. So, I need to re-add you (Emily, Gustavo and Jonathan).
