Title:
  Ubuntu 20.10 arm64 on 5.19.0-31 kernel fails to boot in VMware Fusion
  on M2 chip.

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  so when I boot up my Ubuntu install on 5.19.0-31 kernel, I get the
  following error:

  ```
  EFI stub: Booting Linux kernel...
  EFI stub: EFI_RNG_PROTOCOL unavailable
  EFI stub: Using DTB from configuration table
  ```

  I only got this on the 5.19.0-31 kernel, and 5.19.0-29 did boot
  correctly.
