FUA on XFS was added upstream in 4.18. FUA on XFS is important for SQL server work loads. [Test Plan] SQLIOSIM (a package from Microsoft) was used to test performance improvements. Tests were run with an XFS file system mounted on a persistent memory block device (PMEM) partition. Performance metrics were found to exhibit satisfactory improvement gains from the GA kernel. [Where problems could occur] Well, these are patches to file system code. They _could_ cause widespread corruption. However, multiple test passes with sqliosim exhibited no issues. [Other Info] See attached sqliosim.cfg.ini configuration file for test run parameters.
