Public bug reported: i8042 generating thousands of spurious keypress interrupts
I am having an issue where the + key is repeating in all text fields when I am logged in and before logged in. Seems to happen as soon as I get to any login screen command line or GUI too. I don't think this happens before then but could be wrong. This is annoying but seems to also have stopped a few times but will come back out of the blue. Beyond that, I have popped the key off and cleaned under there with no luck. I have also used the mainline kernel and still having issues. ** Affects: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Low Assignee: TJ (tj) Status: Triaged -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1761502 Title: i8042 generating thousands of spurious keypress interrupts Status in linux package in Ubuntu: Triaged Bug description: i8042 generating thousands of spurious keypress interrupts I am having an issue where the + key is repeating in all text fields when I am logged in and before logged in.
